Aromatherapy for Emotions: Essential Oils can have a positive affect on your mood.

Recipes:

To lift your spirits:  Use in diffuser or put in 2 teaspoon of carrier oil and use as massage.

2 drops lavender, 2 drops orange 6 drops clary sage

To calm you:

lavender 10 drops, geranium 5 drops, sandalwood 10 drops. Use in 2 ounce of base carrier oil, or in diffuser.

To sleep:

lavender or rose 6 drops

Use in diffuser .

Aromatherapy for the skin:

Facial steaming helps to add moisture to your skin and to stimulate it. Put 6 drops of essential oils in a bowl of hot water. Drape a towel over your head to allow steam to prevent steam from escaping. Steam for five or six minutes.

Normal skin: bergamot, geranium

Oily skin: lemon

Dry skin: lavender, patchouli, rose

Cold Sore on Lips:

8 drops tea tree, 5 drops lavender, 6 drops chamomile german, 3 drops lemon, 8 drops geranium.

Mix the oils together, moisten cotton ball with water, put 1 drop of the blend on to it and apply it directly to cold sore.

Facial Scrub: When you need to exfoliate your skin, facial scrubs can be very helpful to unplug pores and leave the skin feeling fresh. Use a blender or food processor to grind the almonds in this recipe.

Ground almonds 1 teaspoon, rolled oats 1 teaspoon, cider vinegar 1/2 teaspoon, Basil 1 drop. Mix vinegar, and basil together then add the almonds and rolled oats. With moistened hands, apply mixture to face. Rinse face.

Scented Bath Oil: Bath oil softens and conditions your skin. Use 1-2 teaspoons in bath. Always use pure carrier oil and essential oil.

Bath oil blends:

Mood elevating:

geranium 5 drops, bergamot 4 drops, allspice 3 drops, orange 3 drops, carrier oil 2 teaspoon.

Refreshing:

lavender 5 drops, peppermint 4 drops, grapefruit 3 drops, lemongrass 3 drops, carrier oil 2 teaspoon.

Massage Oil:

Mix essential oils with a carrier oil and gently massage into skin. Caution: pregnant women should not use essential oils.

Massage oil blends:

Uplifting:

palmarosa 4 drops, ylang ylang 4 drops, orange 4 drops, lime 3 drops, carrier oil 1 tablespoon

Romantic:

Palmarosa 5 drops, Ylang Ylang 5 drops, Patchouli 5 drops, carrier oil 1 tablespoon
